April Recap

A Month of Milestones, Modeling, and Making a Difference

April was nothing short of incredible—a whirlwind of opportunities, accomplishments, and unforgettable moments!

I kicked off the month in Atlanta, where I had the amazing opportunity to model for Jovani as a semifinalist in the Jovani It Girl competition. It was such a fun experience filled with fashion, creativity, and new friendships.

Back home in Alabama, I had the honor of being recognized by Governor Kay Ivey at the State Capitol for my work with P.U.L.S.E. Meeting Governor Ivey and sharing my mission to raise awareness about sudden cardiac arrest was definitely a bucket list moment.

I also had the chance to model for Gus Mayer, a proud sponsor of Miss Alabama. I’m obsessed with everything in their store and had such a wonderful time!

One of my favorite moments this month was emceeing Little Miss Calera Intermediate. The young girls I met were absolutely adorable, and it was so special to encourage them to dream big and shine bright.

On the academic side, I wrapped up my freshman year at Samford University strong, finishing with a 4.0 GPA. I was honored to be inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta, a national honor society recognizing students in the top 20% of their class, and I also earned a spot on the Dean’s List for the second time this year.

April was a beautiful reminder of how much can happen when you work hard, stay grounded in your purpose, and lead with heart.
